Founder and Principal Consultant at walkerlab, Scott Walker, has been appointed to the Public Relations Institute of Australia's (PRIA) NSW advisory Council.
Scott was one of eight new members elected to the NSW Council at the PRIA NSW Annual General Meeting, joining continuing members of the Council.
PRIA Council members represent public relations professionals across the communications industry; agencies, corporates, non-profits and government agencies.
"Since founding walkerlab at the start of 2020, I've had my share of personal and professional growth," said Walker.
"Being elected to the NSW Council of the Public Relations Institute of Australia is a real privilege and I'm excited to start working with such a talented group of professionals to build the profile of our diverse industry," finished Walker.
PRIA National President, Leigh McClusky, welcomed Scott and new Council members saying, she is "excited at the passion" Scott and the new members "bring to our association."
